TechMarket

TechMarket is a WooCommerce-based electronics store developed during my in-house role at Stoor.

The project started from a supplied visual reference, which I converted into a complete dynamic WordPress eCommerce website using Elementor Pro, WooCommerce, JetEngine, and JetSmartFilters.

In addition to building the storefront, product layouts, dynamic listings, filtering systems, and member-area interfaces, I developed a custom WordPress plugin that connected the website to an external product API and automatically synchronized product information and pricing at scheduled hourly intervals.

Development Approach

The website was developed from a supplied visual reference rather than a ready-made website template.

I recreated the provided design as a responsive and dynamic WooCommerce website using Elementor Pro, while JetEngine was used for reusable dynamic structures, listings, and member-area functionality.

JetSmartFilters was implemented for AJAX-powered product filtering, allowing customers to refine large product catalogs without full page reloads.

Custom Product Synchronization Plugin

One of the main technical requirements of the project was keeping product information and pricing synchronized with an external data source.

I developed a custom WordPress plugin that connected the WooCommerce store to an external API, retrieved product data, and updated relevant product information automatically at scheduled hourly intervals.

The frequent synchronization was particularly important because product prices could change rapidly, requiring the WooCommerce catalog to remain aligned with the external source without relying on repeated manual updates.

Project Outcome
