Irani market

Irani Market is a bilingual multivendor eCommerce marketplace designed to connect Iranian product vendors with Persian-speaking customers across Canada.

I developed the website from a supplied UI design and recreated the complete interface in WordPress using Elementor Pro, WooCommerce, JetEngine, JetSmartFilters, and Dokan.

The platform was structured as a multivendor marketplace, allowing individual sellers to manage their products and storefronts through Dokan while customers could browse products, filter the catalog, discover vendors, and manage their own account experience.

The project was fully developed and delivered, but the client did not proceed with the commercial launch and active marketplace operation after delivery.

Development Approach

The project started from a supplied visual UI design, which I recreated as a responsive and dynamic WordPress marketplace using Elementor Pro.

WooCommerce was used as the eCommerce foundation, while Dokan provided the multivendor marketplace infrastructure.

JetEngine was used to support dynamic content structures and customer-facing account functionality, and JetSmartFilters was implemented for AJAX-powered product discovery and filtering.

The final website combined the supplied visual direction with the functionality required for a bilingual, multi-vendor eCommerce platform.

Multivendor Marketplace

The website was structured as a multivendor WooCommerce marketplace using Dokan.

Individual vendors were provided with dedicated storefronts and access to Dokan’s vendor dashboard, allowing them to manage their products and marketplace-related information independently.

Customers could browse products across multiple vendors while also discovering individual seller storefronts through the marketplace’s vendor listing structure.

Vendor Experience

Vendor functionality was implemented using Dokan’s marketplace system.

Each seller could operate through a dedicated vendor dashboard and storefront structure, while the public-facing marketplace provided a centralized experience for browsing vendors and their products.

Custom Customer Account Experience

While vendor management was handled through Dokan, I developed the customer-facing account experience using Elementor Pro and JetEngine.

The account area was designed to provide buyers with a more consistent interface aligned with the visual identity of the marketplace while supporting the required customer and eCommerce account functionality.

AJAX Product Discovery & Filtering

I implemented product search and filtering using JetSmartFilters to help customers navigate the marketplace catalog more efficiently.

Visitors could refine products using relevant catalog filters without requiring full page reloads, creating a smoother browsing experience across the WooCommerce store.

UI to WordPress Implementation

The complete frontend was developed from a supplied visual design rather than a ready-made WordPress layout.

I recreated the provided UI using Elementor Pro and adapted it into responsive, reusable, and dynamic WordPress layouts across the homepage, shop, vendor listings, account-related areas, contact pages, and supporting marketplace screens.

Bilingual Website Experience

The marketplace was configured as a bilingual website using a third-party multilingual solution, allowing visitors to switch between the supported languages while maintaining the same marketplace and eCommerce structure.

WooCommerce Implementation

WooCommerce was used to manage the product catalog, pricing, stock status, product categories, cart functionality, and customer purchasing workflows.

The marketplace structure extended WooCommerce with vendor-specific functionality through Dokan while maintaining a centralized product browsing experience for customers.

Project Outcome

The project resulted in a complete bilingual multivendor WooCommerce marketplace combining product sales, vendor storefronts, vendor management, customer account functionality, dynamic product discovery, and responsive eCommerce interfaces.

The supplied UI was successfully transformed into a functional WordPress marketplace using Elementor Pro, WooCommerce, Dokan, JetEngine, and JetSmartFilters.

Although the platform was fully developed and delivered, the client ultimately did not proceed with the commercial launch and active marketplace operation.
